Renée S. Lane-Kunz

Overview

Renée Lane-Kunz provides clients with strategic legal and business advice in all employment-related matters informed by her extensive experience in corporate executive leadership and human resources roles. She also serves as the Firm’s Chief Operating Officer, overseeing its administrative, financial, HR, IT, and facilities operations. Her dual role provides her with an appreciation for employers’ current challenges and positions her as a key contributor to the Firm’s strategic direction and organizational performance.

A dual national of the United States and Switzerland with a background in senior leadership roles across the hospitality and tourism industries, she provides practical, business-focused counsel to employers in a wide range of industries, including hospitality, food and beverage, manufacturing, education, information technology, and professional services.

Ms. Lane-Kunz advises clients on the full spectrum of employment law matters, including counseling on recruiting and hiring practices; drafting employee handbooks; negotiating employment, separation, and non-competition agreements; representing clients before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights; conducting internal investigations; and providing training seminars on compliance with Title VII, FMLA, FLSA, ADA and other regulatory frameworks. Her perspective reflects a rare combination of legal proficiency, operational expertise, and business acumen. allowing her to navigate sensitive workplace issues while maintaining compliance and protecting business interests.
