“Paul Sandler’s latest book, The Fine Art of Trial Advocacy, is one of his best,” writes Paul W. Grimm, U.S. District Court Judge for the District of Maryland, in his foreword to the book. “Into it he has poured all of his own extensive experience and enthusiasm … to inspire and teach young lawyers how to be effective trial lawyers … [and] the absolute certainty that successful trial advocacy can be learned by anyone wise enough to pick up and read books like this one.”
The new volume includes sections devoted to the fundamentals of persuasion and courtroom rhetoric, each phase of the trial, prerequisites for trial lawyers, and biographical sketches of great trial lawyers from the past.
